Irish Credit Unions – A Customer Service Success Story
The Irish Credit Union has ranked number one in the CXi Ireland Customer Experience Report for ten consecutive years.

As a partner to many credit unions across Ireland, DigitalWell was proud to attend the CUMA (Credit Union Managers Association) Spring Conference. Held at the Mount Wolseley Hotel in Tullow, Carlow, on the 26/27th March, it was abundantly clear just how committed the credit union industry is to exceptional customer care.
The statistics speak for themselves. Just last October, the CXi Ireland Customer Experience Report 2024, conducted by Amárach Research, ranked the Irish Credit Union at #1 for customer experience for the 10th consecutive year. While the Irish Credit Union led the way, pharmacies also ranked highly with An Post and Shannon Airport making the 3rd and 4th places respectively.
From discussions held by the DigitalWell team at the CUMA event, credit unions aren’t sitting on their laurels. As CX (customer experience) technology continues to advance, so too are the ways that credit unions are putting the latest platforms and tools to work to differentiate their offerings and compete more effectively with traditional banks, as well as alternative fintech entrants in the market.
